Every commission begins with a conversation. You share your reference images and tell me what the place means to you. I work from that emotional brief as much as the visual one.
Commissions are suitable for landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, pet portraits, and architectural studies. If you are unsure whether your subject is right for oil painting, just ask — the answer is usually yes.
Paintings are delivered framed or unframed, ready to hang. Every piece is carefully packed for safe delivery. UK delivery included; international shipping available on request. Most commissions are completed within 6–10 weeks.

Get in touch
Fill in the commission enquiry form with your subject, desired size, and any reference images. I will reply within 48 hours with a quote and timeline.

Agree & deposit
Once we agree on the details, a 50% deposit secures your place in the commission queue. The remaining balance is due on completion.

Painting begins
I share photographs at key stages — you'll see it come to life. Feedback is always welcome; this is a collaboration, not a handoff.

Delivery
Once you approve the final piece, it is carefully packed and shipped safely to your door.

What references do you need?
Clear, well-lit photographs of the subject from multiple angles work best. I can work from a single good photo, but more options give me greater freedom to compose the painting well.
How long does it take?
Most commissions take 6–10 weeks from deposit to delivery, depending on size and my current queue. Rush options are sometimes available — please ask.
Can I request revisions?
I share progress photos at key stages so you can give feedback before the painting is completed. Minor adjustments are included; significant changes may affect the timeline and price.
Where do you ship?
I ship within the UK. Paintings are carefully packaged and fully insured in transit. International enquiries are welcome — please ask at the enquiry stage.
Can you paint from imagination?
Sometimes. Most commissions are reference-based — you provide photographs and I paint from those. But if you want something more interpretive or atmospheric, that conversation is always welcome.
